Elementary | Language Arts continues to be taught utilizing the board adopted Comprehensive literacy framework which includes, reading, writing, vocabulary and comprehension development strategies. Fundations is a Kindergarten through Second grade program that is used across the district for phonics development. Word work is a district program that ensures phonics application as well as solid spelling habits that transfer into the students work. Lucy Calkins Units of Study Writing is a program being piloted within the district as a possible Kindergarten through Grade eight writing program. | Ready Mathematics is new to the district for the 2018-2019 school year. This program provides math instruction for grades Kindergarten through eight, and works to support higher level thinking as well as individualized lessons based on student academic needs. A diagnostic test is administered three times per school year and is a method of identifying student needs, while also documenting individual academic growth. | Science Fusions by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is the board adopted textbook for Science. This contract is set to expire at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The process for review and adoption will begin in the fall of 2019 under the advisement of a committee of district teachers. This will be a K-12 adoption for the district. | Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is the adopted text for Social Studies. This text will be up for review and adoption during the 2020-2021 school year.

High School | The Pearson Perspectives English Language Arts curriculum was adopted for the 2017-2018 school year and serves to align instruction across the district for grades 6 through 12. This series works to support students through higher level thinking and question answering while supporting writing and novel usage. | The current contract for High School mathematics expires at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
