Berlin School’s second-grade students, under the direction of Mrs. Rearick, delivered a heartwarming performance at the Veterans Day assembly, celebrating the courage and dedication of our nation’s heroes. The students took center stage, proudly singing patriotic songs that expressed their gratitude for the sacrifices veterans have made.
Mrs. Rearick prepared the students with great care, selecting songs that would resonate with both the young performers and the veterans in attendance. In the weeks leading up to the assembly, the students practiced diligently, learning not only the lyrics but also the significance behind the words they were singing.
The performance was met with smiles, applause, and even a few tears from the audience. Parents, staff, and veterans were moved by the students' enthusiasm and genuine appreciation. For the young singers, it was a memorable experience that deepened their understanding of Veterans Day and instilled a sense of pride in honoring those who serve.
Thank you to Mrs. Rearick and the second-grade students for bringing our school community together in celebration and gratitude.
